Needle Felting is the process of using barbed needles to turn wool fibres into a more condensed material.

The needles are pushed repeatedly through the wool fibres locking them together. Applications of needle felting include creating 3D objects such as felted animals, to creating designs or adding texture to existing designs.

Latch Hook involves pulling pre-cut pieces of yarn through a canvas using a special hook called a latch hook.

Each yarn that is pulled through creates two 'tufts', and when you repeat the process you create a beautiful pile rug/carpet or wall hangings.
