Rowan, founded in the hills of Yorkshire in 1978 and home to beautiful yarns and outstanding designs to inspire knitters and crocheters around the globe.

The Rowan name was inspired by the beautiful shrubs lining the banks of the Holme River in Yorkshire, an area deeply entwined with British textile heritage and traditions.
