Indiennes Flowers Embroidery Kit by Marie Dominique Procureur

This traditional floral design by DMC designer Marie Dominique Procureur uses four shades of Eco Vita Naturally Dyed Organic Wool Thread and a pre-printed 28 count linen base.

The floral design was inspired by the 17th century indienne textiles which were printed using natural dyes.

The kit includes everything you need to immerse yourself in a relaxing embroidery experience using DMC's most sustainable thread yet.

The Eco Vita Thread included in this kit is a 100% organic, non–mulesed wool that has been dyed using infusions of completely natural ingredients such as walnut, rhubarb, indigo and juniper. Crewel wool thread is used as a single strand, and cannot be divided. It is approximately the same thickness as three strands of Mouliné Spécial. Its fluffy quality adds softness, texture and a three-dimensional quality to needlework.
