Forager Yarn Bundle - ColourLab and Croft DK

Get ready to join the West Yorkshire Spinners Forage Blanket Knit Along (KAL), starting on Wednesday 9th October.

Designed by Chloé Elizabeth Birch, the blanket is available in two yarn kit options: ColourLab DK (10 x 100g balls) and The Croft DK (10 x 100g skeins).

Taking inspiration from the fantastic foliage and awe-inspiring colours of autumn, the Forager blanket leads you from the forest floor to the tree tops with its charming and enchanting motifs. 

The ColourLab DK yarn pack contains 10 balls of Colour Lab DK in the following shades and quantities:

• 3 x West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK - Fern Green (1207) - 100g
  
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK - Crimson Red (556) - 100g
  
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK - Soft Stone (1204) - 100g
  
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK - Zesty Orange (476) - 100g
  
• 1 x West Yorkshire Spinners Colour Lab DK - Latte Brown (1135) - 100g
  

The Croft DK yarn pack contains 10 balls of The Croft DK in the following shades and quantities:

• 3 x West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK - Challister (1019) - 100g
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK - Skelberry (0580) - 100g
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK - Greenbank (0404) - 100g
• 2 x West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK - Sandvoe (0135) - 100g
• 1 x West Yorkshire Spinners The Croft DK - Burnside (0690) - 100g

Other requirements, not included: 

4mm (UK 8/US 6) knitting needles, a 4mm (UK 8/US 6) 100cm circular needle and a cable needle. 

The finished blanket will measure approximately 98cm by 114cm, and the yarn pack quantities given are for this size.

The pattern parts for this KAL can be downloaded for free from the West Yorkshire Spinners website.  They will be released as follows:

• Part 3 - Changing Leaves                October 23rd 2024
• Part 4 - Falling Acorns                     October 30th 2024

Please note: Pack quantities are given for the project when worked to the tension stated in the pattern.  If different needles are used, or your tension differs from the designer's, additional yarn  may be required.
