Kinross 4ply is 100% lambswool from certified non-mulesed flocks that knits up with a soft, cosy handle.
This yarn is spun in Scotland by Todd and Duncan, a firm that has been making high-quality yarns for 150 years.
Until 1950 they were based in Alva, in the Wee County, which used to be filled with textile mills.
The yarn is handed directly from the cone without being scoured. Once knitted it will need to be washed (handwash) which causes a little bit of magic to happen - it blooms and softens beautifully and feels almost like cashmere.
The braids come as 5 x 20g (82m) skeins of different colours twisted together in one chain for a total weight of 100g.
